What Is Done with Personal Data¶
Personal data is stored in the Lime CRM database and is never deleted. The data is stored in properties and it is of course possible to display this data to all users of the system if the system is configured in that way.
Why Personal Data Is Needed¶
Personal data is an essential part of the email integration to identify participants in an email conversation.
What Personal Data¶
- Name
- Email address
- Email content
Transfer of Personal Data¶
A service called EmailEngine is used to connect to the email provider. For customers in Lime Cloud, this is part of the Lime Cloud infrastructure whereas for customers running Lime CRM on-premise, it is installed on their server. Data is thus never shared with any third party. The email integration receives and sends emails through EmailEngine and saves that data in the Lime CRM database.
Logging of Personal Data¶
No personal data is logged on the server or sent to any third party.
Possible Avoidance of Using Personal Data¶
No, personal data is required for the email integration to work.
